In Loving Memory of the Space
Shuttle Columbia - As we once again stand together in mourning of a national
tragedy, we pray for the families of the victims of Space Shuttle Columbia. Many
of us are fearful of terrorism with September 11th still so vivid in our minds,
many of us in shock, remembering the Challenger disaster of the early 80's. This
is a time to stop and talk to our children about the ramifications of a national
disaster. Talk about what it means to you and your family and to the nation as
a whole. I urge everyone to come together without blaming, without fear, and without
speculation. It may be months before we know the true story of what happened this
morning. Feel free to share your experience, strength and hope on our bulletin
boards or in our chatroom. God Bless.
Strep Throat
AGAIN! - Okay, this is the third time since November that my son has had
strep throat. Last year he had it 4 times! It's unavoidable for many kids in school.
Learn ways to help your child feel better and signs for more serious infection.
Prevent Super Bugs - Strep Throat, Upper Respiratory Infections, Ear Infections, all have one common thread; they are bacterial infections that require antibiotics.
