Talking With Your Teen About Sex - Talking to your children about sex may feel awkward and complicated. But if parents don't open up about the facts of life, their child's sex education will come from less reputable sources or learned the hard way. Learn how to approach the subject and what listening means when it comes to teens.
Prepare America -Disaster management experts have joined the American Red Cross to announce a national initiative that challenges families to become the most prepared. Emergencies come in all shapes and sizes….. Is your family prepared?
o Make a Plan -Construct a family emergency plan that designates a reunion point for the group and an out-of-state telephone contact by following these steps.
o Get Trained - in First Aid and CPR. This training will be invaluable to treating survivable injuries or even aid in supporting life while awaiting the arrival of professional emergency services.
o Build a Kit - Every household needs a disaster supply kit. A wide variety of pre-packaged disaster supply kits are available at the local branch of the American Red Cross, or you can make one yourself.
o Give Blood - While 75% of people in the US are eligible to give blood, less than 5% actually do so. Learn why it's so important not to wait until you or someone you know needs it.

Getting Close with Your Baby -
While you may feel like there are many barriers between you and your baby in the
NICU, know that there are also many ways to overcome them. It's very possible
for you to feel connected and close to your baby in this setting, and very important-both
for you and for your newborn. The March of Dimes has these tips to help new parents.
Holding Your Baby Close: Kangaroo Care
Kangaroo care is the practice of holding your diapered baby on your bare chest
(if you're the father) or between your breasts (if you're the mother), with a
blanket draped over your baby's back. This skin-to-skin contact benefits both
