Sing songs using hand motions like: - Itsy Bitsy Spider - Pat-A-Cake - How big is Baby? SOOOOOO BIG!! |

Hold your baby firmly and Dance! (Remembering never to shake or toss a baby). |

Read books! Babies love the sound of your voice and even at an early age, they love to see pictures of other babies. Choose books with photographs of real children and chunky books. (see our Children’s Book Selections) |

Read Books! Babies love the sound of your voice and even at an early age, they love to see pictures of other babies. Choose books with photographs of real children and chunky books. Mimic baby’s sounds and offer new ones for him to copy. |

Dance! Babies love music and moving to it. Even while sitting many babies bounce and sway to music. |

Ask baby, “Where is Daddy?” and watch him find him. |

Partially cover a favorite toy and see if baby can find it. |
| |
Cover your face or head with a pillow and call baby to find you! They love that game! |
| |
Games that involve water, like the bathtub, pool or even a dish full of water is great fun! Babies love to splash! |
